Kuya Kim Atienza flies to the Sugar Bowl of the Philippines, Negros Occidental, this Sunday (November 29) for a special Maskara Festival episode on “Matanglawin.”

The Maskara Festival was originally celebrated to bring in more money for the sugar industry in times past but now, it is a fiesta that’s attended by more than 80,000 people. Watch as Kuya Kim gets to meet one of the most-skilled smiling mask-makers, Jojo Vito, who also shows him the process of making one.

Aside from that, Kuya Kim also visits some friends from Animalandia such as the Visayan Warty Pigs; Visayan spotted deers; a rare Tarictic Hornbill, the smallest of its kind in the country; and a bleeding-heart pigeon.

That’s not all because the country’s Trivia King also checks out a life-size statue of King Kong; goes to Campuestuhan, a place for adrenaline junkies for their sky bike experience; and visits the Dizon-Ramos Museum where, believe it or not, celebrates Christmas all year long.

Don’t miss out on the fun two-part special episode of “Matanglawin” in Negros Occidental this Sunday (November 29), 9:30 AM on ABS-CBN.
