The renowned Swiss watchmaker Longines will celebrate the grand opening of its first monobrand boutique in the Philippines. Management representatives from Longines’ headquarters in Switzerland will come to the special event, to be hosted by the Philippines’ premiere purveyor of luxury Swiss watches, The Lucerne Group. Taiwan-based movie star, singer and performer, Eddie Peng, will fly in for the special occasion as Longines’ Ambassador of Elegance. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place among an intimate group of special guests at the SM Megamall Mega Fashion Hall in Pasig City.
With this new monobrand boutique in Asia, the Philippine opening will make another significant milestone for Longines’ presence in this continent.
To lead the ceremonial ribbon-cutting along with Eddie Peng are Switzerland-based Mr. Charles Villoz, Vice President of Longines, Mr. Ivan Yao, President of the Lucerne Group, and Mr. Emerson Yao, Managing Director of the Lucerne Group.
Making his first appearance in Manila as Longines new Ambassador of Elegance, Eddie Peng joins top Hollywood actors Simon Baker and Kate Winslet as a member of the Longines family. Eddie will have an autograph-signing ceremony at the boutique’s floor-to-ceiling poster featuring him with an elegant Longines watch from the Conquest Classic Collection, a line dedicated to Longines watchmaking tradition and passion for equestrian sports.
The new Longines boutique will be a modern interpretation of the brand’s traditional values and about two centuries of craftsmanship. With each new boutique opening, Longines takes the opportunity to show different facets of its passion for elegance and constant innovation.
