2D echo or two-dimensional echocardiogram uses an ultrasound to take 2D images of the heart, including its chambers, valves and blood vessels. This test can determine abnormalities in the heart’s structure and cardiac functioning. Spirometry, meanwhile, measures the amount and speed of the air a patient blows out. This method can assess the lungs’ performance and can diagnose various breathing problems.
Aside from 2D echo and spirometry, MediCard Cebu also offers nebulization, X-ray, hematology, microscopy, serology, and chemistry testing. It also provides consultations on internal medicine, otolaryngology (ENT), cardiology, pulmonology, diabetology, obstetrics and gynecology, and pediatrics; medical evaluation, physical examination; immunization, executive check-up; and minor surgery.
