22-year-old Miss Colombia Paulina Vega is now hailed as the most beautiful woman in the world after winning the Miss Universe title today.
During the nerve-racking Q&A portion, the judge asked Miss Colombia to tell the audience what women could learn from men, her response was, “I believe that my country has been an example to be followed for the rest of the countries. We are persevering people…and we continue fighting. Today, we are world leaders in many different parts.”
Paulina Vega (born on January 15, 1993) is a native of Barranquilla, Colombia. The 5’9” beauty queen is the daughter of cardiologist Rodolfo Vega Llamas and Laura Dieppa, and granddaughter of the legendary tenor Gatsón Vega. Paulina belongs to a big family, four sisters and three brothers.
She studies business administration at the Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, and graduated from a German school in Colombia. She speaks English and a bit of French.
In the Miss Universe Colombia pageant, she earned the highest score possible in every presentation, 9.9.
The Top 4 beauties are Miss Jamaica Kaci Fennell (4th Runner-Up), Miss Netherlands Yasmin Verheijen (3rd Runner-up), Miss Ukraine Diana Harkusha (2nd Runner-up), and Miss USA Nia Sanchez (1st Runner-up).
The Philippines bet, Miss Mary Jane Lastimosa, only managed to enter the Top 10.
The 63rd Annual MISS UNIVERSE Pageant was held at the Florida International University on January 25, 2015 in Miami, Florida.
