Nestlé Philippines Unveils Its Latest Masterpiece in the NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto Collection

Since 2011, NESCAFÉ has introduced a number of NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto Machines that have served as artful conversation pieces in any home.The idea was to create café-style and quality coffee at the convenience of one’s home or office. From manual machines like the Piccolo, Circolo, and Oblo, to the automatic ones like the Genio, Melody 3, and Mini Me, these innovative capsule systems have served as modern day art pieces that create masterpieces everyday.

In addition to their gallery of fine espresso machines, Nestlé Philippines Inc. recently launched the newest and most innovative yet the NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto Drop. This latest addition is not just beautiful to look at; it is truly a state-of-the-art blend of style and substance. It boasts a unique and modern design that takes inspiration from a coffee droplet, and a sensible touchscreen technology, carefully engineered in Switzerland, that makes it easier to customize coffee preparation. Within the elegant machine is also a new 800 ml water tank, which is concealed and smoothly integrated into the modern art design.

“What we love most about the NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto Drop is how one can effortlessly make any room elegant by placing this machine on a table or counter top, while it produces your favorite coffee concoctions easily and quickly,” said Business Executive Manager for Coffee and Creamer Creations Business Unit, Mr. Donald Howat.

In four easy steps, the NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto Drop can also be customized to produce hot or cold coffee and it even makes tea: pick a flavor, choose a desired level while annotating the options using the touch screen, put in desired cup or mug, and have finished product all under half a minute.

“Coffee lovers will never get tired of the newest NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto Drop, especially with our wide selection of flavors. Right now, there are over 10 flavors available in the market to choose from, and all are promised not to disappoint. I personally recommend our black cups like the Espresso Intenso and the Lungo,” said Consumer Marketing Manager for NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto Mr. Jiggy Cruz.

The official debut was held at the Edsa Shangri-La Garden Ballroom and was hosted by producer and renowned Lifestyle TV host, Ms. Daphne Osena Paez. VIPs such as CFO of Nestlé Philippines, Inc. Mr. Daniel Aellen, Business Executive Manager for Coffee and Creamer Creations Business Unit Mr. Donald Howat, and Consumer Marketing Manager, NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto Mr. Jiggy Cruz, as well as media and coffee enthusiasts alike graced the event in celebration of the sophisticated coffee concoctions of NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto.

Making the event more elegant was the voice and talent of the Country’s Pop Diva Ms. Kuh Ledesma, performing live while the guests enjoy their afternoon treat at the stylish Coffee Bar.

Guests who attended the event were the first to purchase the NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto Drop. The machine costs Php 9,999.00 and the capsule flavors available to the Philippine market are:

  2. Espresso Intenso
  3. Lungo
  4. Grande Intenso
  5. Cappuccino
  6. Café Au Lait
  7. Vanilla Latte Macchiato
  8. Chai Tea Latte
  9. Chococino
  10. Cappuccino Ice

The NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto Drop Machines will be available to the market starting November 20, 2015 in Metro Manila Branches of S&R, Anson’s, and select Rustans Marketplace and Robinsons Selections branches.
