In ancient Chinese history, as the autumn harvest comes to a close, the moon stands out and shines brightest. This signals the start of the Mid-Autumn Festival, where feasts are widespread and the men are full of thanksgiving, love, and happiness. The Mid-Autumn Festival calls for family gatherings and the exchange of the much-loved traditional mooncake delicacy.
Elegantly packaged in stylish boxes, guests can share the mooncakes with loved ones, friends and colleagues. Guests may buy the treats at PHP1,180 for a box of four large-sized mooncakes, PHP1,680.00 for a box of six small mooncakes or PHP1,980.00 for a box of eight large mooncakes.
As a special offer for guests, New World Makati Hotel extends a 20 percent discount for orders placed no later than 31 August 2015. Bulk orders with a minimum of 30 boxes and Club Epicure members also enjoy a 20 percent discount.
New World Makati Hotel’s Mid-Autumn mooncakes will be available for pick-up from 1 to 27 September 2015. Rates include service charge.
