Vin Diesel has premiered the touching “See You Again” music video from Grammy-nominated Wiz Khalifa (featuring Charlie Puth) via his Facebook page. Within the first twelve hours, the video for the song that is featured in the closing sequence of FURIOUS 7 has reached a staggering 40 million views and more than 800,000 shares on Facebook. Directed by Marc Klasfeld, the video features footage from FURIOUS 7, as well as retrospective footage of some of the most memorable moments from the film franchise.
“See You Again” topped the iTunes charts at No. 1 in the U.S. and 20 other countries, along with FURIOUS 7: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack taking the top album slot. Additionally, the soundtrack has reached the No. 1 spot in 30 countries around the world. “See You Again” is now impacting across Top 40 and Rhythm radio nationwide and has more than 9 million YouTube views on the official audio.
Wiz Khalifa recently performed “See You Again”on NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon (featuring labelmate Charlie Puth) and on Revolt TV Live. “See You Again” has also been featured in TV spots for FURIOUS 7. Next up is a performance of “See You Again” on NBC’s The Voice, slated for April 8.
