Yamaha opened October with a bang as the Big Bike Category officially opened in Yamaha’s Flagship store, the Yzone. Yamaha’s Big Bike Category is the manifestation of Strength, Stature, and Superiority. Each unit had its own gigantic story to tell, and a journey to be travelled together with its rider. The MT-09 gives you a whole new level of raw with a linear torque for outstanding acceleration.
The Super Tenere is built for the cross-town, cross-continent adventurer with comfort and convenience that is delivered seamlessly with its compact 1199 cc parallel twin and Narrow 2-cylinder inline engine. The TMAX, an ultimate long distance motorcycle that gives you power with control complemented by a lightweight aluminum chassis and sophisticated suspension.
The Bolt delivers both a refined and agile ride, while retaining the timeless character and soul that is a critical part of owning such an individual machine that smoothly places a classic look into the modern roads. Last but not the least, The YZF-R1, directly developed from Yamaha’s M1. This racing machine is born and built for the fast lane, a circuit destined machine that is now at the palm of your hands.
The grand launch was made official by YMPH President Mr. Toru Osugi during the ribbon cutting ceremony alongside fellow Yamaha executives. Aside from introducing each new unit, the program also included the recognition of the first Yamaha Big Bike owner in the country. Mr. Nicholas Bondoc purchased the MT-09 and will the first of many Big Bike riders in the Philippines.
