MANILA, Philippines| August 8, 2015 – The Mall of Asia Arena was once again graced by the presence of the Electronic Dance Music (EDM) superstar, Zedd, as he returns for his second tour promoting his most recent album, “True Colors”.

Filipino fans of rave music have always dreamt of watching Russian – German music producer and DJ Anton Zaslavski’s, more popularly known by his DJ name “Zedd”, shows. Last Saturday, 12,000 Filipino ravers flocked to the Mall of Asia Arena to finally get to see and dance along to the beats of the much-awaited and sought-after EDM icon.

Neverland Manila, the event producer, gave a night that did not just offer the musical talent of Zedd but also shared the music of local DJ Callum David as opening act and the crossover musical project Haywyre.

By the time Zedd was already preparing to dominate the stage, the Filipino audience was already armed with their multicolored glow sticks for them to wave around as the beat sustains their energy. The set included hits from his first and new album starting off with “Beautiful Now”, a mix of “Stay The Night”, “Clarity”, “Spectrum”, “Break Free” and “Find You” from his previous hits and “Transmission”, “Done With Love”, “Papercut”, and his latest smash hit “I Want You To Know” featuring Selena Gomez. He also included his own mix of Clean Bandit’s “Rather Be”, MAGIC!’s “Rude”, Coldplay’s “Sky Full Of Stars”, Black Eyed Peas’ “Time Of My Life (Dirty Beat)”, and Bastille’s “Pompeii”.

Prior to Zedd’s sold out concert, MCA Music Inc. (Universal Music Philippines) presented the Grammy winner a Gold Record Award in recognition for the outstanding sales performance of his debut album, “Clarity” (2012). Among those present in the plaque presentation were Strategic Marketing Manager MJ Juco, Digital Marketing Manager Chesca Tan, and Domestic Marketing Manager Mark Bonifacio.

Proving that he is not just an influential musician but a caring individual as well, he and his management allocated an extra 500 upper-box tickets, despite declaring the show as sold out, for those who can donate assorted food supplies and food donations.

ZEDD “TRUE COLORS” album is now available to download via SPINNR.PH and iTunes. Out now in CDs at Astroplus/Astrovision; or stream via Apple Music, Spotify or Deezer. http://getmusic.lnk.to/TrueColors.
