Andrea Bocelli is set to release a special edition of his latest album, Cinema, packed with extras for fans to enjoy the world over.
In this special edition of Cinema, superstar tenor Andrea Bocelli lends his unique voice to a salute to the movies in a stunning concert special filmed at The Dolby Theatre in the heart of Hollywood. The concert will be released as part of a special edition CD+DVD, which will also include never-before heard tracks and also as a standalone DVD and Blu Ray globally on April 22 through Decca internationally, Verve in the US, and through MCA Music in the Philippines. The special edition album will be released on all digital partners and the full concert will be also be made available on Apple Music.
The songs in this brand new concert many from Oscar-winning scores are also featured on Bocelli’s chart topping album Cinema. These cinematic songs are etched in the culture and hearts of several generations including epic theme songs featured in films such as “Doctor Zhivago,” “Love Story,” “The Godfather,” “Life is Beautiful,” “Il Postino,” “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” and many more, as well as popular songs from stage musicals, immortalized by their film versions, such as “West Side Story” and “Evita.”
