More than 25,000 fans embraced Armin van Buuren at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam during the premiere of his world tour Armin Only Embrace. The show focuses on Armin’s sixth and most recent studio album Embrace and attracted more than one hundred representatives of various media to report on this unique event. Not only the Dutch came to see Armin’s new show, there were fans from more than 50 countries, including Belarus, Canada, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Croatia, Denmark, England, India, Japan, Lebanon, Moldova, Arab Emirates, Mexico, South Africa and Mozambique.
During the four-hour show Armin played a wide range of music styles, although Trance remained the basis. Next to old records the dj treated the visitors with new and exclusive material during his vinyl set. “I believe a show like this has never been shown before” Armin says. “The rehearsal process for this show lasted three weeks. This is the first time people will experience such a trance event, its unique. You can compare it with a large-scale rock show, but with four hours of non-stop dance music.”
The evening surpassed not only Armin’s wildest expectations, also the concert reviews were full of praise. ’A crazy opening in which the tension was literally built up’ and ‘The music, the dancers, the visuals, the acrobatics, the sublime technique and classical ballet makes the Armin Only Embrace world tour a real hit. ‘
After these spectacular shows in Ziggo Dome, van Buuren will travel the world and will make a stop in the Philippines on November 25, 2016 at Mall of Asia Arena.
