It is no secret that there are prevailing gaps in the educational institutions in the Philippines especially those in rural areas. These include the discrepancy in teacher-student ratio, institutional facilities, and even the students’ lack of passion for learning.
This is especially true for the Datu Halun Laboratory School in Bongao, Tawi-Tawi, which caters to 162 kindergarten students with only two teachers. To help address the gap, Smart Communities deployed TechnoCart, a mobile digital lab designed to enhance learning among kindergarten pupils.
