“MMK†explores the dynamics of an unconventional family as it brings to life the story of a family with two mothers and a father this Saturday (May 21).
Rommel (Raikko Matteo, Diego Loyzaga) grows up with his biological mother Mila (Precious Lara Quigaman), his biological father Rody (Jay Manalo), and his father’s wife Bita (Andrea del Rosario).
While both Mila and Bita assure Rommel that he is lucky to have two mothers, he gets teased a lot by his friends because of his family’s non-traditional set-up.
Aside from being confused over the complicated relationship of his parents, Rommel is also caught between Mila and Bita as he considers both women his mother.
But things take a dark turn when his father’s abusive behavior leads to Bita’s decision to flee their complicated situation. What will happen to Rommel when the family he grew up with suddenly crumbles?
