Jolina Magdangal has come home to the label that produced her biggest hits Star Music with an all-new album aptly titled “Back to Love,” a collection of unapologetically romantic love songs.

“It’s who I really am I love love songs. I am sentimental. I’m happy when I sing ‘hugot’ songs. Mas kinikilig ako pag senti ‘yung kanta,” shared Jolina on her conscious choice to include only love songs in the album.

Her return to the recording scene was warmly welcomed by her fans as “Back to Love” recently scored a gold record award for having sold more than 7,500 units, just two weeks after its release.

Jolina also considers “Back to Love,” first album with Star Music in 14 years, a personal project as she has been involved in its making from its conception to its packaging.

“I’m super hands-on with this album. I involved myself in everything from choosing the concept, choosing the songs, to making the cover and music video. I’m also very thankful to Star Music for giving me a chance,” she shared.

“Back to Love” includes her first single “Ikaw Ba ‘Yon,” as well as “Kaya Mo Pa Ba,” “Paano Na To,” and “Nasaan Na” all original ballads thick with heartache.

Jolina’s ‘90s hit “Kapag Ako Ay Nagmahal” also gets two re-recordings on the album – the mellow 2015 version and a remix featuring Gloc-9.

Moreover, Jolina collaborates with Vice Ganda on “Chuva Choo Choo 2.0,” which is made even more playful with the ‘unkabogable’ comedian’s vocals.

Completing the track list are “Sa Panaginip Lang,” “Still You,” “Ganito Pala Ang Pag-ibig,” and “Throwback Lang,” a duet with Kyla.

“Back to Love” can now be streamed on Spotify and is now available at all record bars nationwide at P299. Digital tracks can also be downloaded via online music stores such as ABS-CBN Store, iTunes, Mymusicstore.c.ph, Amazon.com, OneMusic.ph, and Starmusic.ph.
