Acclaimed singer-songwriter Ogie Alcasid has joined “Tawag ng Tanghalan” on “It’s Showtime” and was officially introduced as one of its ‘hurados’ or judges recently in the most-talked-about competition, airing TFC. Like the other hurados, Algcasid has been evaluating the performances of the singer hopefuls from Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao and Metro Manila. In his first appearance on the competition, Alcasid made the audience laugh with his light jokes as he was giving his commentary to the contestants.

During the grand finals of “Pinoy Boyband Superstar: The Grand Reveal,” Alcasid was also named one of the judges of “Your Face Sounds Familiar: Kids,” which will premiere in 2017. “Tawag ng Tanghalan” is currently on its last quarter with Hazelyn Cascano of Metro Manila, Jeramie Sanico of Mindanao and Sam Mangubat and Froilan Canlas of Luzon as its semi-finalists.

Don’t miss the talented Pinoy singers as they battle for supremacy and the judges’ nod in “Tawag ng Tanghalan” on the variety show “It’s Showtime” airing outside the Philippines via TFC. Viewers can also catch Alcasid and the other hurados in past episodes via TFC.tv and TFC IPTV’s video-on-demand (VOD) service in key countries worldwide.
