An Overwhelming Victory For Universal Records’ Artists In The 29th Awit Award

Universal Records, one of the country’s leading recording companies is proud to announce that the OPM artists under its label bagged most of the major awards in the recently concluded 29th Awit Awards, which was held on December 7 at the Music Museum in Greenhills.

In its latest social media post, Universal Records made sure that the artists who are deserving of their respective victories are appreciated. “We couldn’t be any prouder,” says Kathleen Dy, UR’s General Manager. “All our efforts have paid off”.

Congratulations to this formidable line up of OPM acts. You all deserve to win!

Tippy Dos Santos – Best Performance by a Female Recording Artist for “Parang Wala Lang” and Best R & B Recording for “Parang Wala Lang”.

Aiza Seguerra

Aiza Seguerra – Best Ballad Recording for “Araw Gabi”.

Moy Ortiz of The Company – Best Vocal Arrangement for “Waters of March”.

Callalily

Callalily – Best Album Package for “Greetings from Callalily”

Everyone was just just grateful and so overwhelmed that night when each of the artist received his/ her award on stage. Moy Ortiz of The Company even posted over his social media account these words of appreciation “@universalrecordsph our profound thanks for your unflagging faith and support in the OPM artist”.
