2016 has been great for Generika Drugstore. Since the launch of Gabay Generika earlier this year, they have been able to provide much needed public health aid to more communities through medical missions and the recently-concluded Gabay Kalusugan activities. To bolster their public service efforts, they have recently participated in the AC Health Barangay Wellness Fiesta in Cavite alongside FamilyDOC. United under the banner of Ayala Corporation’s AC Health, families in Greensborough Subdivision, Sabang, Dasmariñas Cavite were treated to a Zumba Fest, a Volleyball Exhibition Game with guest players from the Generika Lifesavers Team, including other fun and educational activities last November 26.
Generika Drugstore, like FamilyDOC, is part of the AC Health Family – Ayala Corporation’s answer to the country’s pressing health needs. Mr. Teodoro Ferrer, Generika President, was present in the AC Health Barangay Wellness Fiesta to share the story of how Generika Drugstore was formed to bring to life an enduring social purpose to give Filipinos access to affordable medicines and healthcare. He also mentioned that through AC Health, Generika can better bridge the gap in the country’s healthcare industry.
In the AC Health Barangay Wellness Fiesta, Generika had engaging activities for the attendees such as educational games and wellness product sampling. During the event, they also educated the public about the benefits of Nutrawell Collagen and generic medicines. To culminate the program, two members of the Generika Lifesavers team coached and played with the local players in a barangay volleyball exhibition game.
Bound by a common goal, Generika Drugstore and FamilyDOC make healthcare more accessible and affordable for Filipinos. The AC Health Barangay Wellness Fiesta demonstrated to the public that they now have more choices for their health needs.
