Eat, Drink, and Chill at REDD

The latest hangout spot in the city recently held its grand launch, introducing its cool combination of Filipino food fare and fun-filled attractions to foodies.

REDD is a concept that lets its customers eat, drink, and chill in an ambience that is relaxed and cozy, encouraging its customers to enjoy a hearty business lunch barkadas to unwind after a long day at work.

The menu is extensive with enough Filipino food choices for any kind of craving and size of appetite. Their menu are offered in selfie, date, and groufie sizes, with comfort food options such as Chicken Pork Adobo, Pork Binagoongan, and Beef Kaldereta. The dishes are prepared and presented with a twist, while staying to the authentic slow-cooking methods to bring out the best flavors from each ingredient. Other must-tries are the Chicken Pochero, with a scrumptious sauce made with real ham bone, a Kare- Kare Trio paired with house-made sweet-salty Bagoong, and a crackling Crispy Pata for that savory fiesta feel.

Lighter options for those going green can choose from the Oh My G! portion of the menu that includes the Bicolano Gising-Gising made rich and creamy with coconut milk and the fresh and crisp veggies of the Pakbet de Iloco that takes inspiration from the regional cuisine of the North.

Carb choices can be between the specialty rice dishes such as Tinapa and Bagoong Rice or noodles with the Spaghetti Tinapa sa Aligue or Crispy Canton with its special thick sauce.

Drinks and desserts are good ideas to cap the meal, with signature cocktails and bar chow combinations that are truly Pinoy. Those looking to imbibe can choose between local beers or quirky-named concoctions like the Coco Martini and Mojito de Guimaras, to be paired with nibbles like the authentic heirloom recipe of the Sisig ala Kanto or the Juana Fries, Nacho Gwapito, Sinuglaw, Chicharon Bulaklak and Iba Ka Lumpia. The Turon Overload is given a twist too, sprinkled with cinnamon and ice cream for that sweet ending.

Entertainment comes in the form of the live bands that serenade guests at the Prism Plaza atrium each night or at REDD’s private videoke lounge which can be availed of through reservation at a very friendly price. REDD has prepared very affordable special KTV packages that start at Php199.00 to Php4,999.00 depending on the number of guests. Visitors can likewise request for the Beer Pong station to be set up for a rollicking good time.
