Ultimate hunk and actor Richard Gomez will topbill his first-ever “MMK” episode this Saturday (March 12) to inspire viewers with his portrayal of a tricycle driver and M.A. student who juggles work and school.

Rafael (Richard) dreamed of being a teacher when he was still a kid. However, his stepfather would rather have him work than study, so Rafael would find ways to keep on studying.

After clashing with his stepfather many times, Rafael was asked by his mother to simply run away after graduation and seek a better future in Manila.

But life was not so easy in Manila, where he ended up being unable to continue his studies. He ended up becoming a security guard to support his own family, and for years forgot about his dream to become a teacher.

Until one day, his life got threatened in a robbery, making him realize that he did not want to die without having fulfilled his dreams.

He then went back to the province to become a tricycle driver, and saved enough money to go to college, study education, and become a full-fledged teacher.

Joining this “MMK” episode are Patricia Javier, Sofia Millares, Faye Alhambra, Louella de Cordova, Ronnie Alonte, CX Navarro, Paolo Santiago, Ruben Gonzaga, and Miko Raval. The episode is directed by Elfren Vibar and written by Rose Colindres. “MMK” is led by business unit head Malou Santos.

Don’t miss the longest-running drama anthology in Asia, “MMK,” every Saturday on ABS-CBN.
