Veteran broadcast journalist and Anak TV Hall of Famer Ted Failon will discuss the pros and cons of issuing vote receipts while crime news icon Gus Abelgas will look into a case of break-in in this Saturday’s (March 19) episodes of “Failon Ngayon” and “SOCO” on ABS-CBN.

Failon will try to shed more light about the recent Supreme Court ruling to issue receipts for the national election on May 9. The Commission on Elections said there is not enough time to do this and that the upgraded PCOS machines have enough safety features to ensure the protection of votes. Failon will weigh in on the issue and then challenge a new set of senatorial candidates to deliver the best answers under time pressure in the segment called “Failon Ngayon 30 Second Question and Answer.”

On the other hand, find out if a group of three girls survived a break-in at their boarding house as Abelgas investigates their case on “SOCO.” The unknown assailant is possibly at large and Abelgas will try to deduce how the crime was committed to help viewers protect their own families and relatives in “SOCO: Scene of the Crime Operatives.”

Catch “SOCO” at 4:00pm and “Failon Ngayon” at 10:45pm this Saturday (March 19) on ABS-CBN. “Failon Ngayon” also airs on ANC, the ABS-CBN News Channel every Sunday at 2:00pm.
