Not only are this year’s centerpieces selfie-worthy, but they also bring a feeling of enchantment for families and friends who are expected to spend more time at the malls throughout the season.
Shoppers have started flooding social media with photos of centerpieces taken from various SM malls throughout the country. Life-like arctic animals, enchanting unicorns, giant drummer boys, magical elves, moving trains, oversized holiday trees, gingerbread houses, and dazzling lights are only some of the centerpieces that caught the shopping scene by storm.
Also expected to bring magic to the entire Christmas shopping experience are live entertainment from popular artists and performers, dazzling fireworks display, and the much-anticipated Grand Magical Christmas Parade. This annual spectacle of holiday icons marching to joyous music has become a source of joy to everyone who go to SM malls either to shop, dine, or simply to enjoy the show.

We want to make that extra special for our customers through these festive installations and activities,” said Steven Tan, senior vice president of SM Supermalls. “And true to our mission to be the mall for all, we continue to share the spirit of giving through our SM Cares Bears of Joy.”
SM Cares’ Bears of Joy is an annual activity that gives every shopper the chance to share the love this holiday to an underprivileged child. For every purchase of one toy bear, another bear will be given to a chosen beneficiary from an adopted community under the customer’s name.
With all these things happening simultaneously in all SM malls across the country, customers are bound to experience a new level of Christmas shopping that are at once enjoyable and heartwarming at the same time.
