Today, Spotify, the world’s most popular music streaming service, launches Daily Mix, a series of playlists with near endless playback that combines the user’s favorite tracks with new songs, minus the effort that goes into creating the perfect listening session.
With Daily Mix, users are able to tune into a mix of the music they know and love, made fresh in continuously updated playlists. Whether in the mood for dancing to upbeat tunes or relaxing with mellow hits, users can select and enjoy most loved familiar tracks with new music prepped in. Music lovers are bound to rediscover some forgotten hits or even find a bunch of new favorites.
As the user’s music taste evolves, so will his Daily Mix. In fact, the more he listens, the better his mixes will become offering an effortless music experience based entirely on his personal listening habits. Users can simply “ban” a tune to remove it from future playlists if he does not like the new discovery. If he loves it, simply hit the “heart” icon so it may be added to the collection.
Spotify has found a way to take the work out of playing and organizing daily listening. By offering consistently refreshed playlists of the user’s favorite tunes with near-endless playback, he can spend less time maintaining playlists and more time enjoying the songs.
Users can find their personal Daily Mix in the Your Library section in the latest version of Spotify on Android and iOS. It is available globally to all existing users, both free and premium. New users will be able to access Daily mix after approximately two weeks of listening. Daily Mix will roll out to additional platforms soon.
