As a brand that aims to be a partner to every individual who strives to shape his own destiny and of the world, Suzuki Philippines Inc. showcases young people who excel in their respective crafts in its “Drivers of Tomorrow” themed booth at the much-awaited 6th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) happening at the World Trade Center in Pasay City on September 14 to 18.
The pioneer manufacturer of compact vehicles in the country promises five days of great experience for its booth visitors with the amazing automobile displays, loads of prizes, fun activities, and all-day festivities it has prepared, plus a chance to score free tickets to the upcoming AFF Suzuki Cup 2016 at the booth.
One of the commitments of Suzuki Philippines is to continuously create and innovate its products based on its customers’ needs, now and in the future. This year, Suzuki centers its booth concept and activities on steering the vision of the future. Foremost among its exhibits are the Suzuki Celerio CVT which emerged top-notcher at the Department of Energy’s Fuel Economy Run 2016 (Overall Gasoline Category), the all-new Ciaz GLX which bagged the Best Fuel Rating in the Sedan/Gasoline Category in the same Fuel Eco Run, the newly-modified Ertiga, the Suzuki Swift 1.2, and the all-time favorite Suzuki Jimny. Guests will also have the opportunity to see on its first public appearance the New Suzuki Super Carry that will be officially launched in October.
Visitors will get to know a number of young people who excel in their respective crafts and who, even from a young age, have made waves and shown big potential to be leaders in the future. Much like Suzuki, they are the drivers of tomorrow.
There will be daily themed shows in the booth featuring the emerging achievers, starting with Driving the Future of Arts with Spoken Word Artist Juan Miguel Severo on September 14; Driving the Future of Dance with grand winner of “Pilipinas Got Talent” season 5, Power Duo on September 15; Driving the Future of Fashion with bridal and luxe wear designer Yeye Pantaleon on September 16; Driving the Future of Music with The Bloomfields on September 17; Driving the Future of Sports on September 18; and other surprise guests.
One of the crowning points of the Suzuki exhibition at PIMS will be the giving away of free tickets to the AFF Suzuki Cup 2016 so fans can get a chance to see the Philippine’s Men’s National Football Team play live at the Philippine Sports Stadium during the tournament. The team, also known as the Azkals, who are driving the future of sports, represents the country in the AFF Suzuki Cup which the Philippines will co-host for the first time this year, starting with the Group rounds in November, and on to the final rounds in December. The AFF Suzuki Cup is a football competition organized by the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF). Suzuki has been the title sponsor of this biennial tournament since 2008. Free tickets to the games will be given away in the Suzuki booth.
Apart from the celebrity guests, freebies and games, the booth will also showcase Team Suzuki Philippines’ stunning modified Suzuki vehicles. Team Suzuki Philippines is an organization comprised of passionate Suzuki car owners, who will put on display their revamped, well-loved vehicles whose designs also reflect the “Drivers of Tomorrow” theme.
Shuzo Hoshikura, General Manager of Suzuki Philippines for Automobile, shares his excitement for this year’s International Motor Show. “We have many reasons to be enthusiastic about our participation in the Philippine International Motor Show this year, and we can even say this will be our best and biggest exhibit so far.
