As part of their continued commitment to their audiences, ABS-CBN The Filipino Channel, a global brand that offers, among others, the world’s most widely distributed premium and on demand channel showing Filipino content on multiple platforms, and SINGTEL, one of the largest players in Singapore is bringing its content offering a notch higher with TFC Movies via SINGTEL Video On Demand (VOD).

Starting this quarter, TFC is offering premium movies from ABS-CBN’s film production and distribution company Star Cinema on TV screens via Singtel VOD service. For an affordable rental fee, Filipinos in Singapore now get to experience the same blockbuster hits that their families enjoy back home. As an additional feature, TFC Movies will offer films subtitled in English to capture even the local viewers of Singapore.

With TFC Movies, Kapamilyas can rewind to their favorite scene, pause when needed and fast forward to excitement. They can also see their favorite stars on screen, over and over again.

The Love Affair ” Bea Alonzo, Richard Gomez, and Dawn Zulueta”

According to Ailene Averion, ABS-CBN Managing Director for Asia Pacific, “As a highly-diversified global brand, we continuously explore more content and avenues toreach a wider audience. In pursuit of our journey with Kapamilyas wherever they may be, we continue to improve on both the kind and quality of entertainment, providing more comfort for our kababayans and elevating their experience in the process.”

Averion explains: “Through SINGTEL VOD, Filipinos in Singapore can now watch their big screen favorites within the confines of their homes. They also get to experience the same homegrown content their loved ones consume back home via ABS-CBN platforms.” Now, non-Filipino speaking viewers can also appreciate our content with TFC Movies’ sub-titled feature. Averion ends, “The essence of it all is we hope to bring all possible content experiences for our audience.”

TFC Movies available via Singtel’s VOD include: “She’s The One” starring Bea Alonzo, Dingdong Dantes, and Enrique Gil plus Liza Soberano; “Starting Over Again” starring Piolo Pascual and Toni Gonzaga; “Maybe This Time” starring Sarah Geronimo and Coco Martin; the multi-awarded “The Love Affair” starring Dawn Zulueta, Richard Gomez, and Bea Alonzo; “Everyday I Love You” starring Liza Soberano, Enrique Gil, and Gerald Anderson; and Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz’ iconic films, “One More Chance” and “A Second Chance”.
