4S1M Upgrades Racing Parts In The 3rd Eneos Philippine Motorsports Championships

Equipped with the latest addition to their racing parts, 4S1M-Yamaha Racing Team returned to the Batangas Racing Circuit last July 8 and 9, 2017 for the third leg of the ongoing Eneos Philippine Motorsports Championships. Fresh from satisfying finishes in the second leg, their three racers, Mark Djereck Ondillo, Herbert Lopez, and Jeff Teopengco welcomed Gupita Kresna Wardhana from the Bintang Racing Team Indonesia. This leg also saw the introduction of the new Replica Pro Racing Pipes, Nissin brakes, Gazi suspension, and 4S1M center spring all designed for more powerful motorbikes.

Chief Mechanic Joji Sanvictores ensured that the racing team’s motorbikes were all tough and ready to race to win. Together with the whole mechanic crew, refreshing and re-tuning the engine were the most priority. “On this race, we focused more on the parts that are more suitable to the tune setup of their motorbikes,” he shared.

The scorching heat of the sun welcomed the team on the first day but it did not hinder the team to have a powerful qualifying round. When the actual race day rolled in, things were a little tougher than expected. Team Manager Ronald Uy narrated few challenges when Gupita injured himself during the warm-up lap hindering him to continue. Following the incident, Herbert Lopez’ engine exploded twice causing the whole mechanics crew do last minute tweaks and tune ups.

In spite of the challenges faced by the team, 4S1M showed its mettle by actively driving for success. The team remains confident that despite this leg’s setbacks, they will be able to gain more wins in the next legs to come.

In another category, Rizaldy Canare, sponsored by 4S1M, bagged 2nd place under the Pirelli Cup Group B category. Rizaldy was very thankful to Mr. Mark Tan of 4S1M for supporting him with racing parts for almost two years already. “I always had a good end whenever I compete using the racing parts provided by 4S1M,” he said. The products never failed to deliver quality performance. Being grateful himself, he hopes that 4S1M will keep on supporting him in his future races.
