ABS-CBN TFC Kapamilya actor Zanjoe Marudo was recently in New York where he was honored by the 45th Annual International Emmy Awards (iEmmys) with a top male acting category nomination for his performance in a special Father’s Day episode called “Kweba (Cave)” of “Maala-ala Mo Kaya”, the longest-running drama anthology in the Philippines from ABS-CBN. Zanjoe competed against Julio Andrade from Brazil, Kad Merad from France and eventual winner Sir Kenneth Branagh from the United Kingdom.
While in the Big Apple, Marudo paid a courtesy visit on the consular team of the Philippine Consulate General in New York.
