A festival of fun and cuteness will take place at the Gateway Mall, Ali Mall and New Farmers Plaza on Saturday, October 28, as the Araneta Center holds its annual Halloween event for the entire family.
The Halloween Carnival Fest, which starts at 11 a.m., promises an enjoyable experience especially for the kids who will participate in the trick or treat, and the costume contest.
A P700 single-receipt purchase from any Araneta Center establishment entitles a kid aged 0 to 12 to join the activities. Each kid will also receive a loot bag filled with goodies, and other freebies like popcorn, and cotton candy. The youngster may participate in free activities like face-painting, and hairstyling.
Kids who will dress up in circus- or carnival-inspired getups will have bigger chances of winning prizes in the costume contest, which also serves as a throwback to the glory of the Araneta Center’s iconic Fiesta Carnival.
Gateway Mall, Ali Mall and New Farmers Plaza will reward their top 3 winners in the costume contest, with P5,000 and other items as top prize! Little tots who will be named Most Creative, Most Charming and Adorable and Cutest Carnival Costume will also win special treats.
Aside from these fun activities, the Halloween Carnival Fest will also feature games, raffles and performances from magicians, jugglers, ventriloquists and mimes, which the entire family will enjoy.
For those on a bargain hunt just before the Yuletide season kicks in, the Araneta Center also holds a Halloween Sale this weekend, October 28 and 29, with up to 70% off on selected items.
