Coldplayers Hit Twitter With 1.2 Million Tweets On #ColdplayManila Concert

Filipinos love Coldplay (@coldplay). They love them so much that when this British rock band held their highly anticipated A Head Full of Dreams concert in Manila, Twitter was filled with endless excitements of their amazing performance. Held yesterday night at SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds, concert goers knew every song by heart and sang along with Chris Martin, Guy Berryman, Jonny Buckland and Will Champion. Twitter recorded 1.2 million Tweets related to the #ColdplayManila concert (2-5 April 2017).

Twitter is the first place where fans shared their thoughts and expressed their love for this much awaited #ColdplayManila concert.

fans in Philippines went head over heels in welcoming the band when they arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Manila on April 2.

During their visit, Coldplay went around Manila. Amidst of their busy schedule, they still found time to experience the sights and sounds of the city. Chris Martin rode a bike before the concert started and the band went for a ride in the iconic jeepney. What’s great about it is that it actually led to an original composition about the band’s Pinoy experience.

Twitter is where everything happens. An unexpected “Dream Come True” happened at the musical event as concert goers shared their unique ‘hugot’ moments as they witnessed the sweetness of  the phenomenal love team AlDub (Alden Richards @aldenrichards02 and Maine Mendoza (@mainedcm) at the concert grounds. The #concertlearnings hashtag trended on Twitter with endearing fan conversations relating how wonderful the experience can be when the moment is shared with a partner.
