COLOR MANILA, best known for their colorful fun-runs, just had another packed event last weekend, with Glitter Run, that took place at the MOA Grounds.
More than 6,000 participants joined the early morning race by the bay, which had three race finishes – 3K, 5K and 10K. The race participants also enjoyed going through the various foam stations; and the color powder and glitters that were thrown in the air.
The morning ended with the color festival, which the organizers are also well known for. The color festival DJ’s spun retro and modern music as the runners danced and partied the morning away, while color powder was thrown at them.
COLOR MANILA VP Justine Cordero says, “We’re always happy to see our runners enjoy the race that we organize in detail for them. We make sure that we give them a race experience, that will make them go back for more. We also make sure we give them a world-class fun-run experience.”
COLOR MANILA has also been cited internationally and has been shortlisted in two categories – Best Mass Participation and Best Integrated Marketing Campaign for a Sports Event, along with its PR Agency, at the very prestigious Asia Sports Industry Awards (SPIA), to be held at Bangkok, Thailand in November 2017. Last year, the organizers won silver for Best Mass Participation Category.
COLOR MANILA will still have three more events for 2017, October 29 for Challenge Run in Ilocos Sur, November 4 for Blacklight Tanay and December 2 for CM Blacklight at Clark, Pampanga.
