Concentrix, a global business service company with great presence in the Philippines, displayed its passion for people locally by conducting a donation drive to assist families displaced from the war-torn Marawi City. With enthusiastic participation from all its staff, the organization was able to raise ₱1 million to be used to  supply essential items and relief material to the beleaguered people.

The ₱1 million donation covers much-needed items such as food packets, water bottles, and clothes for the affected families. A portion of the donation was set aside for hygiene kits, which were given to the wounded soldiers who fought in Marawi City. These kits, which contained shirts, socks, toiletries, and packed meals, were prepared by the volunteers of Concentrix Cagayan De Oro site. The volunteers also organized a lunch and participated in storytelling and literacy sessions for the children in the area.

Apart from the monetary donation of ₱1 million, Concentrix Philippines donated ₱200,000 to the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).  This contribution aids the program in delivering essential life-saving aid to children and families as well as providing potable water, sanitation, food, shelter, and medical care for the Marawi victims.

Concentrix Philippines cares deeply for the local communities and makes focused efforts toward education, child welfare, and a clean environment. The company has previously hosted events like school refurbishing, beach cleaning, and driving computer donations to schools. The Marawi donation drive is yet another example of the commitment Concentrix Philippines has to give back to the community.
