With the coming of Fusion 20, a strategic management plan that defines the five-year development of the Daikin Group, Daikin Philippines (DPH) is prepared with the new challenges it is bound to face. The determined and diligent team is led by President Mr. Lee Wai Kok. DPH is confident that it can be the top air conditioning solution provider in Philippines as it has been worldwide.

In compliance with the Montreal Protocol, The Philippines has vowed to phase-out refrigerants with ozone depleting potential, such as R22. In accordance with the direction, DAIKIN Philippines has made the decision to phase out all R22 products within Fiscal Year 2017, which is 3 years ahead of the targeted year of 2020 set up by the Philippines’ Department of Environment and Natural Resources. Being ahead in research and development, DPH is replacing all of its products with environmental friendly refrigerants with no ozone depleting potential.

Mr Lee Wai Kok

Keeping its promise to Mother Nature, Daikin has always been one step ahead in producing high quality and environmental-friendly products. While most air conditioners in the market use either R-22 or R-410A as its refrigerants, with the former having ozone depleting potential, back in 2014 Daikin introduced the Urusara 7 to the world. It is the first product using R-32 refrigerant in the market. R32 is a revolutionary refrigerant superior in both environmental effects and cooling performance compared to both R-22 and R-410A.

* Global Warming Potential (GWP) is a relative measure of how much heat a greenhouse gas traps in the atmosphere. The higher the GWP, the MORE WARMING IMPACT the gas has.

The NEW DaikinCooling King Series

Do you want to enjoy the coolness right after you turn on the air conditioner? Do you want to cool every corner of your house with even air flow and lower sound level? What’s more, do you want to save your electricity bill as much as possible?

A brand new series residential split air conditioner, Cooling King, will be launched in the Philippine market with stronger cooling capacity yet better energy efficiency. The new series features two new line-ups namely: Standard and Premium. Boasting a superior 4-star Energy Efficiency Rate for the Premium, a rating that is greater compared than other products of its same capacity, Cooling King can help you to achieve the comfort you deserve with less power.

Both of these new line-ups will use the more eco-friendly R-410A refrigerant replacing the currently available old R-22 in the market. Another significant characteristic is its lower sound level that can be as low as to 23dBA. That’s just like the sound of the rustling leaves.

The Home Central Air Conditioning System

Everyone deserves a comfortable home. There is nothing more important than spending quality time in a comfortable and relaxing space with your loved ones.

Going beyond the limits of air conditioning, Daikin reinvent its highly successful commercial VRV system to define once again what comfort is in residential market. The Home Central Air Conditioning (HCAC) System will be launched in Philippines soon. With its new revolutionary technology, it is a unified system which incorporates temperature, moisture and air flow control, giving you the most comfortable cooling according to the unique requirement in each type of room in your house.
