Davao Aguilas FC’s Coach Mel Anzures and Jason Cordova, along with Ceres Negros’ Head Coach Risto Vidakovic and player Martin Steuble, faced the local media today at the L’ Fisher Hotel in Bacolod City.
They are set to face-off at Panaad Stadium November 02 at 7 p.m. for the 4th and last time for the inaugural season of the Philippines Football League (PFL). Their last encounter in Tagum City, Davao del Norte, in front of 4,000 Davao supporters, ended in a draw, with a score of 1-1.
After this match, Davao Aguilas FC will fly back to their home pitch, for this Sunday’s match at the Davao del Norte Sports Complex, as they face Stallion Laguna FC on November 5, at 4 p.m.
Head Coach Marlon Maro says, “Davao Aguilas FC is already gaining altitude and the support from the home fans has been tremendous. We will come out strong and defend our “nest” for our next home matches.
