“FightCon,” the country’s first-ever fight and conditioning convention, is back for a second run with bigger fights, new attractions, and a brand expo this Saturday (May 13) at the MetroTent Convention Center in Pasig City with S+A, ABS-CBN’s free TV sports channel, as the official TV media partner.

Launched last year, the first-of-its-kind event unifies combat sports, fitness, and even music all in one venue. This year it heightens the excitement more with MMA and Muay Thai competitions, a conditioning challenge, combat sports demos and exhibitions, plus live performances from some of the country’s celebrated artists.

“FightCon” was designed to promote mixed martial arts (MMA), encourage athleticism and gather fighting and fitness communities in one event. It serves as a hub for various activities that cater to fighters, fans and brands alike.” said Paul Gaw, founder and producer of “FightCon.”

Guaranteed to be larger than last year’s event, fight fans are sure to get a kick out of the affair’s new highlights, beefed up activities, and superior lineup.

“FightCon” also teamed up with no less than ONE Championship Heavyweight Champion, Brandon “The Truth” Vera to boost the promotion of mixed martial arts in the Philippines together with S+A.

S+A is the home of ONE Championship in the Philippines and has been instrumental in raising interest and awareness on the sport through airing of various local and international MMA events as well as through featuring the inspiring stories of the fighters.
