Jamie Rivera is celebrating her 30th year in the music industry with a major concert dubbed “Hey It’s Me, Jamie! 30 Years The Concert” on September 8 (Friday), 8PM at the Music Museum.
This Star Events production will feature a wide genre of music from the former Miss Saigon actress as unlike other artists who have remained in the same musical category, her three decades in the business is marked by her diverse song contributions: from love ballads, songs about children and the family, to huge inspirational hits.
“It’s a constant reinvention of yourself. Those are reinventions realizing that these are talents given by God. The glory goes back to Him. With the blessings and love of God, I’m still here after 30 years,” revealed Jamie, citing her choice to continue spreading her music to different genres.
Joining the Inspirational Diva in her highly anticipated show are longtime friends in the industry Pinky Amador, Ito Rapadas, Jenine Desiderio, Bimbo Cerrudo, Jason Zamora, and Joshua Zamora as well as some of today’s hottest young singers Jona, Klarisse, Bailey May, and Janella Salvador. Paolo Valenciano will direct the show with musical direction under Bond Samson.
The singer-songwriter is behind memorable inspirational songs such as “Tanging Yaman,” “Tell The World of His Love,” “Hiram Sa Diyos,” “Jubilee Song,” and most recently, the theme song for Pope Francis’ visit to the Philippines in 2015, “We Are All God’s Children.” She is also known for classic love songs like “I’ve Fallen For You,” “Pangarap Ka Na Lang Ba,” and “Hey It’s Me.”
