It’s another intense basketball battle of Kapamilya stars in “Star Magic Oppo All-Star Game” with teams headed by Daniel Padilla and Gerald Anderson happening at the Araneta Coliseum on August 13.
Presented by ABS-CBN Events and Star Events, the ‘All-Star Game’ features an exhibition basketball match between the two teams composed of Star Magic’s male artists who are ready to shoot, assist and control the boards.
Defending champion Team Daniel is comprised of Zanjoe Marudo, Joseph Marco, Ronnie Alonte, Vin Abrenica, Zeus Collins, Anjo Damiles, Marco Gumabao, Patrick Sugui, Jon Lucas, Paolo Angeles, and last year’s hailed MVP Axel Torres.
Meanwhile, Team Gerald consisting of Rayver Cruz, JC de Vera, Ejay Falcon, Jason Abalos, Matt Evans, Diego Loyzaga, Miko Raval, Young JV Kapunan, Jimboy Martin, Gerhard Acao, and Joe Vargas is all set to face Team Daniel with the determination of stealing away their title.
Last year’s “All-Star Basketball Game: Kapamilya Playoffs” mythical five consisted of both team captains Daniel and Gerald, along with Axel, Young JV, and Ronnie.
Will Team Gerald be able to win the competition this year? Or will Team Daniel keep their throne? Which star will join this year’s mythical five?
Aside from the much-awaited all-star battle, fans and supporters will enjoy various treats – games, surprise appearances and performances from other Star Magic and Star Music artists during the half time.
