In celebration of Women’s Month, Lifestyle encourages all women to embrace every part of their body with the “I love Me” campaign.

Portraits of women of different shapes and forms, and in different stages in their lives will be showcased in a series of plugs as Lifestyle features ladies with inspiring stories to tell, to highlight diversity and to serve as reminder of their shared desire: that each woman wants to feel good about herself.

Alexandra Alaba Lao, a chef-entrepreneur who recently got married, shared how she overcame her insecurities when she was a working student aiming to help ends meet. For several years, she suffered from depression and eventually gained a lot of weight.

“I got into fitness, renewed my faith and had a total change of lifestyle,” shared Alex during the ladies’ photoshoot. “I followed friends’ advice to have a positivity wall and learned to embrace the essence of gratefulness.” She is now a proud owner of a fast food hub and a restaurant called Croque Café + Bakery both located in Makati City.

Makeup artist Eica Decepida was happy to share how she is able to help transform and give confidence to clients who feel insecure about their looks. Rather than changing anything about their looks, “I believe in simply enhancing a woman’s natural beauty,” she said on her five-year passion.

Transwoman Janlee Dungca, a public relations practitioner, meanwhile believes that a woman’s beauty inside manifests and radiates beyond physical looks. Her story as a volunteer of Love Yourself, an HIV awareness organization, and as an advocate of LGBT rights, serves as a heartening piece promoting inner beauty while encouraging women’s need to take care of themselves and be mindful of their rights.

Others who willingly shared what makes them beautiful are creative director Kyla Olives, lifestyle blogger Kally Araneta, student Nicolle Bueno, College professor Tin Militante, photographer Nicolai Melicor-Villaruel and TV host Janeena Chan.

Writer and illustrator Kisty Mea, artist Bern Cruz, art director Trish Noble, and commercial model Jeff Serrano also revealed their own body issues and how they have learned to love their uniqueness.

Catch the stories of these ladies on Lifestyle, one of the channels of Creative Programs, Inc., a subsidiary of ABS-CBN that aims to give Filipinos a complete lifestyle experience.

This cable channel celebrates the uniqueness of women in its continuing promotion of loving life that starts with loving oneself. Its various shows on food (Giada At Home, Donna Hay: Basics to Brilliance, FoodPrints, Curiosity Got the Chef) travel (Great Escapes, Big Crazy Family Adventure, Rick Stein’s Long Weekends, The Wine Show), entertainment (Il Paradiso Delle Signore, Unplugged Nation, Secret Lives of the Super Rich, Kids Do The Craziest Things), and home (Australia’s Best Houses, Of Houses and Ideas, Chic, Socialite Families) aim to be an ample lady’s guide to living out her dreams and sharing unique experiences.

Lifestyle is available on SKYcable channel 52.
