Lifestyle TV brings together the most in-demand chefs and restaurateurs for a night of gastronomic experience in “Around the World in Small Plates,” happening on Saturday (October 21) at the Penthouse, 8 Rockwell.
Taking dinner guests on a worldwide tour through off-the-menu specials are renowned chefs JP Anglo of Sarsa for Philippines (Negros), Tina Legarda of Bamba Bistro for Saudi Arabia, Jason Go of MNL Creamery for Nicaragua, Dedet de la Fuente of Pepita’s Kitchen for Macau, Ginny de Guzman of Tilde Café for Morocco, Carlos Franco of Tomatito for Mexico, and Nicco Santos of Hey Handsome for Singapore.
Other chefs step up for the European leg such as Josh Boutwood of The Test Kitchen for Sweden, Robby Goco of Souv for Greece, Miguel Vecin of Bar Pintxos for Spain, William Mahi of 210° Kitchen + Drinkery for France, Raul Fores of Made Nice Supper Club for Italy, Carlos Rodriguez of Pig Pen for United Kingdom, and Katrina Kuhn-Alcantara of Mesclun for Switzerland.
Lifestyle’s very own Chef Claude Tayag of “Chasing Flavors” and Chef Sandy Daza of “Casa Daza” will also be cooking up their own exclusive fares for Philippines (Luzon) and for Thailand respectively.
In partnership with Metro Society, Food Magazine and Rockwell, this year’s “Around the World in Small Plates” is Lifestyle’s fourth edition of the charity dinner event presenting a great selection of regional cuisines from around the globe for discerning food lovers to enjoy.
Part of the proceeds will go to the I CanServe Foundation to support their projects for breast cancer awareness. The foundation promotes early breast cancer detection through high impact information campaigns and community based screening programs.
Dinner tickets are available at Php 2,500 which entitles participants to have a taste of different cuisines and enjoy the one-of-a-kind dining experience. Top-quality wine, gin, Belgium beer, and coffee will be served at the event through bar stations courtesy of Sommelier Selection, Premier Wines & Spirits, Les Deux Belges, and Nespresso.
