Launched in the Philippines last September 2016, Singapore’s Makansutra Hawkers has been bringing the best of Asian food, culture, and lifestyle. From Hong Kong street food to authentic Indian delicacies, a visit to Makansutra is truly an Asian food experience.

Beyond providing delicious and authentic food to customers, Makansutra ensures that they are able to give back to the Filipino community they cater to. Makansutra partners with World Vision this coming school year to provide learner’s kit to thirty World Vision children with its upcoming promo, “Street Food Day for a Cause.”

Happening on May 25, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Makansutra’s P199.00 lunch meals will be offered on a buy one get one basis when you donate any amount to World Vision. Coin boxes will be available at the venue for donations.

World Vision aims to help improve the functional literacy of children under its care through its 2017 back-to-school campaign called “Lead a Child.” Done yearly since 2015, this campaign will equip World Vision’s more than 33,000 registered children in the Philippines with bags containing notebooks, papers, pens, and other school materials. By supporting World Vision’s Lead a Child campaign, you can inspire more children to value the importance of education and ensure that they continue to get the support they need to reach their dreams.

To support or know more about the campaign, please visit www.worldvision.org.ph or call World Vision hotline number 372-77-77.
