ABS-CBN TVplus users are set for a fun-filled movie marathon as Vhong Navarro’s comedy-fantasy film, “Mang Kepweng Returns,” premieres on ABS-CBN’s Super Kapamilya Box Office (KBO) this weekend (March 4-5).
Fresh from its January theatrical release, “Mang Kepweng Returns” will air on ABS-CBN TVplus (digital TV) and ABS-CBNmobile (online streaming) for families to have more options to watch the first Filipino film of 2017.
“Mang Kepweng Returns” is a remake of the 1979 film of the same title. The remake centers on Kiefer (Vhong), an average man living a simple life who suddenly experiences paranormal activities. When he learns that he is the son of Mang Kepweng, a famous and funny albularyo, Kiefer becomes determined to find out more about his father, which leads him to discover his destiny as an heir to the iconic bandana that has healing powers.
