Samsung Electronics Philippines introduces Moments Worth a Million, its newest online photography contest with the Galaxy J7+ where everyone can join and get a chance to win 1 million pesos in cash!
With the Galaxy J7+ built to enhance every moment, Samsung aims to encourage users to submit their best photos following the contest’s weekly theme taken with the Galaxy J7+, and using at least one of its new features: the Professional Dual Camera, Live Focus, and Mobile Photo Booth.
The promo will run for nine weeks from November 13, 2017 to January 7, 2018 and will have different themes for each:
- Week 1: Wonders of Pets (November 13 – 19)
- Week 2: Family Bonding (November 20 – 26)
- Week 3: Barkada Moments (November 27 – December 3)
- Week 4: Celebrations (December 4 – 10)
- Week 5: Food (December 11 – 17)
- Week 6: Travel Destinations (December 18 – 24)
- Week 7: Favorite Things (December 25 – 31)
- Week 8: Filipino Christmas Traditions (January 1 – 7, 2018)
Participants must share their photos on Instagram together with captions that tell why those moments are special with the following official contest hashtags: #GalaxyJ7PlusPH, #EnhanceEveryMoment, #MomentsWorthAMillion, and #J7PlusPHStories.
To make their entries official, participants must register at http://samsung.com/ph/offer/momentsworthamillion after sharing their photos on their Instagram accounts. Each participant is required to fill up all the fields, otherwise they would be unable to submit an entry.
The criteria for picking a weekly winner are as follows:
Usage of the Samsung Galaxy J7+ camera features. – 50%
The photo must use at least one of the camera features of the Samsung Galaxy J7+ which are: Live Focus, Selfie Focus, Mobile Photo booth.
Originality and Creativity. – 30%
The participant must creatively show a photo that corresponds to the specific theme being joined. Photo and caption must contain a personal touch and explain how the photo shows a special moment in the participant’s life.
Engagement – 20%
Posts with a high number of likes and/or comments and usage of hashtags may also be short-listed in the selection of winners
One winner will be selected from each weekly theme and will receive a Capdase 5000mAh powerbank. For the final week of the contest, these eight winners will be competing for the grand prize of Php 1M. Weekly winners will receive a notification via post mail, e-mail, and through Samsung Electronics Philippines Corporation’s Facebook page.
