Leading telco and digital services provider PLDT, through its Community Relations Division (ComRel) and PLDT-Smart Foundation (PSF), joins this year’s Paskong Kapatid led by TV5’s Alagang Kapatid Foundation.

Held at De Los Santos Medical Center in Quezon City, the Paskong Kapatid is an annual Christmas outreach program of the companies led by business leader Manny V. Pangilinan that aims to bring some happiness to indigent families across Metro Manila especially during the Yuletide season. The companies under the the MVP Group CSR Council provided noche buena packs and hygiene kits.

PLDT ComRel gave away 100 noche buena packs to families. PSF gave 100 noche buena packs and 500 MVP shirts for the children and adult guests from the community. The Delos Santos Medical team, who provided the venue, also brought a clown act and treats for the kids as well as medical attention for both children and adults, alike. TV5 Alagang Kapatid Foundation coordinated with the community — making the event an over-all success.

The over 200 family-beneficiaries were likewise entertained with fun games and food with the Filipino all-time favorite pancit and delicious desserts such as ice cream and cotton candy. The MVP Group CSR Council who participated in Paskong Kapatid 2017 were PSF, PLDT, DLSMC, Alagang Kapatid Foundation, Maynilad, One Meralco Foundation, Metro Pacific Investments Corporation, Asian Hospital, Makati Medical Center, Cardinal Medical Charities Foundation, Roxas Holdings, Inc., and MVP Sports Foundation.
