Pru Life UK’s 20th Anniversary Customer Engagement Campaign completed its sweep of awards at the global, regional and local level, after receiving a distinction at the Silver Quill Awards. The Silver Quill Awards is presented to outstanding professionals in the region who have proven that their communication programs effectively furthered the goals of their organizations – growing revenues, reducing cost and motivating its intended public to a desired action. The citation, conferred by the Asia Pacific chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators, was held in Singapore on August 24, 2017.
The winning campaign, which was launched by the Company in celebration of its 20th anniversary, actively engaged its agency force and clients throughout 2016. It was comprised of a client survey, selling drive, and dinner concert, helping fortify the Company’s relationships and achieve its business goals for the year.
The successful integrated campaign raised outstanding repeat sales, recognized its milestone clients as well as its top selling agents, at the same time growing its customer database whilst reinforcing its customer loyalty. The campaign also received the sole Gold Quill Award of Excellence for the Customer Relations category last June at the IABC Conference in Washington, D.C.; the only Excellence awardee from among five entries from the Philippines. It also received an Award of Excellence and a Top Award nomination at the Philippine Quill Awards in July.
Pru Life UK has received several Gold Quill Awards in previous years, for its corporate social responsibility programs, Cha-Ching and SAFE STEPS. It has likewise been awarded numerous Philippine Quill Awards of the local IABC chapter.
The IABC is a global network of communication professionals that aims to advance organizational effectiveness through strategic communication.
Pru Life UK’s growing number of accolades reinforces the Company’s legacy, which it has built for 20 years in the Philippines. In 1996, the Insurance Commission granted the British subsidiary the license to operate and sell life insurance products in the country. Since then, Pru Life UK has expanded its reach to over 130 branches and sales offices in the Philippines, with the biggest life agency force at more than 18,000 agents, and has emerged as one of the top five life insurers in the country.
