Secret Signals is very excited to announce that we have been appointed as regional publicist for Singapore indie-pop band, M1LDL1FE. As appointed regional publicist, Secret Signals will take on all press, marketing and radio and video servicing responsibilities in the Asia-Pacific region.
The band has released a statement via Facebook last night,“We are writing this note to announce that we are changing our name, and are now known as M1LDL1FE (pronounced “mild life”). In the past year or so, after John left the band, we have been trying our best to write new music. This process took longer than we liked, as it took us a while to find our voice again and re-adjust to writing as a four-piece. Within this period, we have also experienced changes in our personal lives, and as we have grown, so has the music. Having gone through these changes and with the new music and new sounds on hand, we felt it would be best to embrace the changes with a new name. Thank you all so much for the love and support you have given us all this while. It gives us strength to continue pursuing music even though at times, it feels easier not to do so. We are very excited to share our new music with you. A new EP and a live show will be announced soon. We hope you enjoy it and get to see you at the show. Sincerely, M1LDL1FE (formerly Take Two).”
Founded in the summer of 2012, Secret Signals, a full service artist/label development firm based in Singapore, have been appointed as the regional publicist. “M1LDL1FE has been on our radar since their days as Take Two,” says Edwin Waliman, manager at Secret Signals. “We are very excited to be working closely with them as they embark on this new phase as M1LDL1FE.”
The first single, “Distraction”, off their self-titled EP is set for release on June 14th. Details of the EP will be announced soon.
