Star Music, ABS-CBN’s record label, has already generated 1 billion combined views on its YouTube channel, making it the first local recording company to hit the one billion mark with its continuing efforts to deliver fresh and heartwarming videos and promote OPM to Filipinos in different parts of the world.
Combining the total views of its official music videos, lyric videos, recording sessions and other exclusive shots released on the StarMusic channel, it has now reached 1B total views and counting.
A few weeks before the billion hits, subscribers and fans watched Star Music’s Himig Handog videos, led by the grand winner “Titibo-Tibo” song with Moira dela Torre’s official recording session gaining 5.2 million views. Adding to this success is her pre-finals video that has already gained 3.8 million views, and her grand finals and official music videos garnering 2.2 million views each.
Star Music now has 1.8 million subscribers and is included in the top 10 Philippine channels on YouTube based on the number of subscribers. It is the first Filipino music label to reach one million subscribers, its major feat achieved last year, and the third ABS-CBN channel to reach said milestone.
Among its videos with the most number of views are Yeng Constantino’s official music video for “Ikaw” now with 68 million views, and KZ Tandingan’s official music video for “Mahal Ko O Mahal Ako” with 47 million views.
Star Music’s online presence, through its YouTube channel, website and social media accounts, adds to the growing list of digital platforms of ABS-CBN, which is rapidly transitioning into an agile digital company with the biggest online presence among Filipino media companies.
