Stray Bullet Kills Innocent Boy In “Maalaala Mo Kaya”

How will a family rise from the sudden death of its son after getting hit by a stray bullet?

This Saturday (February 25), “MMK” tells the tear-jerking story of Isong (Jhong Hilario), a barangay officer who turned into an active tipster for their local government, and his family. Despite their impoverished life, they, including little boy Ninin (Ynigo Delen), continues to have a a positive outlook in life. For Isong, his loyalty to his job would be able to secure his family’s future and safety.

However, their world will change in just a snap and their peaceful life will be disrupted when Ninin dies after getting hit by a stray bullet.

Isong is filled with grief because he wasn’t able to save his son. To make matters worse, his very own wife Marilou (Angel Aquino) blames him for their son’s death.

Joining this “MMK” episode are Nikki Bagaporo, Menggie Cobbarubias, Macky Billiones, Nhickzy Calma, Winryll Banaag, David Chua, Jason Fernandez, and Young JV. The episode is directed by Frasco Mortiz and written by Benson Logronio and Arah Jell Badayos. “MMK” is led by Star Creatives COO Malou Santos.
