Tirso Cruz III joins the list of nominees for Best Supporting Actor in the upcoming 22nd Asian TV Awards for his exceptional performance as the greedy and powerful governor Julio Ardiente in ABS-CBN’s hit primetime series “Wildflower.”
The veteran actor, who is the only Filipino who received an acting nomination this year, is competing against Han Chang of Taiwan, Chen Mu Yi and Sani Hussin both from Singapore, Oabnithi and Krissanapoom of Thailand.
Aside from Tirso, “The Voice Kids” is alsoe nominated in the Best Adaptation of an Existing Format category while ANC‘s Cathy Yang is nominated for Best News Presenter or Anchor.
The 22nd Asian TV Awards gala will be held December 1 at Suntec, Singapore.
