Love speaks many languages in CinemaWorld’s Valentine’s week offering “Love Matters,” a mini festival of seven widely acclaimed romantic films from different parts of the world.

Catch one each night at 9 PM starting February 12 leading up to the Cinemaworld premiere of South Africa’s 2016 record breaking hit movie, “Forever.”

Man Of My Dreams (Germany) – February 12

In “Man of My Dreams,” sisters Lenni and Hannah Reiman (Hannah Herzsprung and Karoline Herfuth), their mother Margaux (Iris Berben), and their friend Vivienne (Palina Rojinski), find themselves in funny situations all for the chance to find true love and the man of their dreams.

Love Is In The Air (France) – February 13

Before she became an Oscar winning actress, Marion Cotillard was already a big star in her home country of France, starring in multiple movies including “Love Is In The Air.” In it, she plays a woman, Alice, who will help a young man, Yann (Vincent Elbaz) overcome his fear of flying to enable him to grow up and pursue greater heights in his career and in his love life.

Shall We Kiss (France) – February 14

Valentine’s Day brings “Shall We Kiss,” a story within a story, quite literally. Two strangers make a connection, but which abruptly ends when the man, Gabriel (Michaël Cohen) offers Emilie (Julie Gayet) “a kiss without consequences.” Emilie declines by telling the story of two friends whose lives are brought into chaos after sharing a kiss. It is a light and fanciful look into the consequences of attraction.

She Is Like Spring (South Africa) – February 15

It’s a case of mistaken identity when Ben (Stiaan Smith), a young mechanic tries to impress his boss’ daughter, Linda (Amalia Uys) after meeting her at a bar. After realizing that they really do like each other, he tries to become good enough for her but what will happen when his real identity is revealed? It’s a feel good movie that will bring out some laughs.

Road To Your Heart (South Africa) – February 16

Cinemaworld brings back the highest grossing Afrikaans Narrative Feature Film of 2014. A young businessman, Basson van Rensburg (Botha) is given five days to reach his father’s funeral in Cape Town and complete several tasks along the way in order to be anointed CEO of the family business. His road trip brings him to the bohemian Amory (Donnalee Robberts) and they decide to go together. But their trip takes a dark turn when a mysterious person shows up to stir trouble.

He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not (France) – February 17

Audrey Tautou of “Amelie” fame is Angelique, a woman passionately in love with a doctor. The film starts off innocently enough with Angelique seemingly interacting with her lover. However, the film restarts from the point of view of Dr. Loïc Le Garrec, a married man who is actually being stalked by Angelique.

The movie earned around total of $5.1 million worldwide and received a 73% fresh rating from popular movie ranking site Rotten Tomatoes.

Forever (South Africa) – February 18

Hugo (Ivan Botha) and Nina (Donnalee Roberts) are childhood sweethearts who reunite after 10 years. They see each other again on the day before Nina’s wedding. But when she gets stood up at the altar, they reconnect and find themselves on the island of Mauritius. It is there that they heal their old wounds and find a new way to love.

The movie was a hit, like the real life couple’s earlier film “Road To Your Heart.” It earned R4.7 million shattering South African box office records.

Enjoy these seven love stories with the family the whole week of Valentine’s, from February 12 to 18, at 9 PM on CinemaWorld on SKY. Watch it on SKYcable HD channel 184 in Metro Manila, San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan, Rizal, Cavite, and Laguna and on HD channel 716 in Cebu and Davao.
