The performance of Snow White by Ballet Philippines will be a special experience for these children during this magical time of year.
Cultural Center of the Philippines President Margie Moran-Floirendo said, “We believe that this holiday season is the best time for children to be more exposed to culture and the arts that will help with their individual development.” She adds, “Partnering with Smile Train Philippines was an easy decision I made after witnessing firsthand how well the organization supports comprehensive cleft care and seeks for the long-term betterment of patients’ welfare.”
Choreographed by Ballet Philippine former Principal Dancer, Effie Nañas, Snow White premiered as the holiday offering of the company’s 19th Season in 1988. Rhea Dumdum-Bautista who essayed the lead role in 2007 returns or the current production as regisseur, guiding a new set of leading dancers.
Smile Train beneficiaries and their families, together with an audience both young and young-at-heart, will experience the adventures of Snow White, which includes forest friends and an evil queen.
