Dine at The Garage at City of Dreams For An Enticing Gastronomic Delights

The Garage at City of Dreams is a VR Zone and food park which is a first of its kind in the Philippines.

The virtual reality experience provided by a leader in video digital entertainment development, Bandai Namco Amusement, complemented by quality food and beverage choices offered by the hippest and contemporary food and beverage partners and the resort’s own talented staff.

The enticing gastronomic delights consist of Japanese, Filipino, American, Vietnamese, Mexican and Italian fare; a chocolate shop; and a bar for beverage and spirits, which have been carefully curated to redefine casual dining.

The 10 outlets set to whet the crowd’s appetite are: Hokkaido Ramen Santouka, Katsu Sora, Pink’s Hot Dog, Little Flour, Farmacy, , El Chupacabra, Pizza Grigliata, and three outlets operated by the luxury resort –Chocol8, Juiced and The Roaster.

Bar

A first-of-its kind bar where you can find a variety of carefully prepared signature cocktails, iced teas, and mocktails.

Specialties: cocktails, iced teas, and mocktails

Menu highlights: Signature cocktails including The Garage, Elixir, Manila Five-O, Citrus Circus; signature iced teas such as Jasmine Red and Peach Perfect; as well as signature mock tails including Six Pack, Sit on the Beach, Love and Passion, and Booster.

Chocol8

A chocolate lover’s paradise right inside The Garage, Chocol8 features handcrafted chocolates in a number of shapes and forms, and are enhanced with special ingredients such as fruits, nuts, and spices.

Menu highlights: white, milk chocolate and dark chocolate bars and chocolate tiles

El Chupacabra

Known as the home of street tacos in Metro Manila, El Chupacabra was the first in the country to present the Mexican street taco concept to Filipinos. Before Chupacabra, locals thought of tacos as those u-shaped crispy corn shells filled with ground beef, which is more American rather than Mexican. A Mexican street taco comes in a freshly made soft corn tortillas made from corn masa, and can be ordered with choice of filling. It is then topped simply with chopped onions and fresh cilantro that provides a simple yet supremely satisfying taste.

Cuisine: Mexican American

Menu highlights: Mexican Street Tacos in San Francisco Style Sisig, Pollo Asado, Picadillo, and Carnitas variants; burritos and quesadillas.

Farmacy

Harkening back to the classic turn-of-the-century ice cream parlors and soda joints, Farmacy Ice

Cream & Soda Fountain first opened its doors in 2014, and has since been a favorite of sweet-tooths clamoring for home-made ice cream served the right way. With multiple unique flavors of authentic ice cream, signature very thick milkshakes, sundaes, floats, ice cream sandwiches, ice cream bars, and more can be a soothing treat to your weary soul.

Specialties: Homemade ice cream and other ice-cream-inspired desserts

Menu highlights: Homemade ice cream, ice cream sandwich, brioche bomboloni, sundaes, homemade sodas, and ice cream floats.

Hokkaido Ramen Santouka

The origin of this ramen shop traces back to Hitoshi Hatanaka, who opened his own ramen shop in March 1988, in Asahikawa, located on Japan’s northernmost island of Hokkaido. It is said that Hatanaka wanted to develop a classic ramen for all to enjoy, made with a simple soup that could be savored to the last spoonful and topped with Char-siu pork. To this day, Hokkaido Ramen well-loved mild, pearl-colored Tonkotsu soup thatis achieved by taking the time to simmer the pork bones before adding vegetables, dried fish, kelp and other special ingredients continue to remain unchanged and can now be savored at The Garage.

Menu highlights: Shio, Karamiso, Shoyu, and Awase Aji-Ramen, and other Japanese dishes.

Juiced

Juiced offers a fresh and healthy variety of healthy concoctions including freshly-squeezed smoothies, slushies, and juices daily

Katsu Sora

Derived from Japanese terms “Katsu,” which is short for tonkatsu and “Sora,” which means sky, Katsu Sora is dedicated to offering only the highest quality tonkatsu and a host of other Japanese dishes. Those who visit The Garage can taste Katsu Sora’s array of tonkatsu available in four kinds of world-class pork. One of which is the Iberico Pork, highly coveted pork imported from Spain and is known for its meat that has a butter-like texture; Shimofuri Pork, which has a high percentage of marbling that result in a tender and flavorful meat; Kurobuta pork, that is known for its melt-in-your-mouth goodness; and the Sakura Pork, characterized by a lighter color and a firmer texture, the meat is moist, has a mild flavor and has clean finish.

Cuisine: Japanese

Menu highlights: Tonkatsu, katsudon, miso katsu, oroshikatsu, tonkatsu curry, katsu sets, teriyaki don, maki sushi, and other side dishes.

Little Flour

Little Flour is Wild Flour’s younger sibling– an all-day brunch concept marrying Wild Flour’s bestselling breakfast dishes, pastries, coffee and desserts, together with new locally-inspired favorites, including putting the Wild Flour touch on classic Filipino rice bowls like sisig, beef tapa, pork adobo, and delicacies like buko pie, cassava cake, and ensaimada.

Menu highlights: Sisig rice bowl, pork adobo fried rice, arroz caldo, beef tapa, roast organic chicken, and more.

Pink’s Hot Dogs Manila

Pink’s Hot Dogs has been a landmark and staple of Hollywood since 1939. Beginning as one of the most sought after hot dog stands in Los Angeles, CA by movie stars and locals alike (known for its famous “sausages with a snap”), Pink’s now has over 15 locations across the United States and has been hailed by multiple publications as the #1 hot dog in America. Bringing that hype across the Pacific, Pink’s Manila was brought to the Philippines by the Wild Flour group in 2016 as the first-ever international franchise of the popular hot dog chain outside the US, serving a wide host of signature hot dogs and burger creations, served on the side with a choice of fries, onion rings, nachos, chili, or any of the best all-American favorites.

Menu highlights: Hotdogs in different variants including the Hollywood Legend, Tokyo Dog, Coney Island Dog, Breakfast All Day Dog, and more; a variety of cheeseburgers; and all-American favorites such as fries, onion rings, and chili.

Pizza Grigliata

Grigliata is the italian word for “grilled”. Pizza Grigliata’s artisanal pizzas are grilled and torched to perfection, and was founded on the idea of “total pizza experience” — bringing unique pizzas to their customers without having to go outside the county. Pizza Grigliata is known for its flat bread pizza characterized by its unique crust with regular; black squid ink dough; or colored doughs made out of Beetroot (red), carrot (orange), and squash (yellow).

Cuisine: Italian

Menu highlights: Pizzas including Prosciutto Arugula Pizza, Spinach and Pesto in Squash Dough, Margherita, Quattro Formaggi Pizza with Truffle Oil, Pepperroni Pizza, Bacon and Mushroom Pizza; and pastas such as Carbonara, Pomodoro, and Spicy Garlic Sardines.

The Roaster

It’s a perfect destination for those wanting to explore exceptional coffee. Inspired by the “farm to cup” movement, The Roasters proudly works with select coffee farmers of specialty premium Arabica and Robusta coffee in the country. All of the coffee beans are freshly roasted in house for an elevated coffee experience.

Specialty: Coffee beverages

Menu highlights: Single serve “steampunk” brewed coffee that is made to order; Bombón ; Spanish Latte; Moca; Café Caramel; Café condensada; Citron Tea; and Leche de Tigre.
