From June 29 to July 1, homemade delicacies whipped up by some of the Philippines’ biggest stars are yours for the tasting at Shangri-La Plaza’s Celebrity Food Fest.
Drop by the East Atrium and try Miriam Quiambao’s tubo cane juice, LJ Moreno’s lollicakes, Nene Tamayo’s bottled sardines, Janice de Belen’s pork buns, Jan Marini’s mushroom chips, and Michelle Esteves’ organic selection of goodies.
There’s more where it comes from. Christine “Tintin” Bersola-Babao will sell a wide assortment of goodies at the fair, as well, including toasted pastillas, chocolate-covered mangoes, salted egg chips, and turmeric tea. Other delectable desserts will include velvet cupcakes from Ara Mina, choco liquor cakes from Maricar Reyes-Poon, buttercream cupcakes and muscovado cookies from Nikki Valdez.
There will also be a special fundraising effort for a 10-year-old leukemia patient, Glenn Salagoste. Pick up a box of cookies at the Cookies for Glenn booth to help support his treatment.
